Epi-Kit Manual Injection Kit (EpiPen Substitute)
Epi-Kit Manual Injection Kit (EpiPen Substitute)

Our Price: $4.97

Item #: 210-0325

With the cost of epinephrine auto-injectors skyrocketing, more and more outdoor & adventure organizations as well as EMS departments are switching to using manually-injected epinephrine via vials/ampules. Not only does this save hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars, but it is also just as effective as using an auto-injector such as an EpiPen.

This Epi-Kit includes everything needed to safely administer epinephrine via manual injection, except Epinephrine.*
*Epinephrine requires a prescription from a physician & can be purchased in 1ml vials at many pharmacies. (see below for details)

(1) - Band-Aid
(2) - A
lcohol Swabs
(1) - F
ilter Needle (to draw up epinephrine from ampule)
(1) - Sterile 1mL Syringe
(1) - 22-Gauge, 1-1/2" Needle (for epinephrine administration)*
(2) - Diphenhydramine HCl (generic Benadryl)

Epinephrine ampules require a prescription from a physician practicing in the United States or District of Columbia. Epi-Kits with epinephrine are ONLY sold to individuals who are at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and have a valid prescription. EPINEPHRINE IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS KIT, HOWEVER CAN BE PURCHASED AT MOST CVS PHARMACIES.

* Epinephrine can only be injected into the outer thigh, and can be done so through clothing in an emergency.

5 of 5 Epinephrine Ampule for Anaphylaxis July 27, 2017
Reviewer: KDC from Taylors, SC United States
Excellent option for those who can't avoid being gouged by Mylan for their epi-pens. The only criticism I have is that the Expiration Date was only 6 months out. However, be aware that the epinephrine is probably still potent enough long after the expiration date unless it was exposed to high temperatures. Do as they do as standard practice in Norway and refrigerate it!
